After inquiring, and according to availability, Southern Sound DJ will share an interactive brochure in which you can select packages that best fit your need and vision for the day. Once the proposal and contract are agreed upon, and signed, the first deposit payment of $300 will secure your date with Southern Sound DJ.

You are free to communicate with me at any point in time - by email, text, or phone call. I do require a mandatory phone or Zoom call, your choice, 4-5 weeks away from the big day. This gives us time to discuss timelines, songs, and formalities to make sure the flow and dancing goes seamless.

No. Southern Sound DJ maintains a full schedule of events and more than likely, we are at another event on the day before. If you purchase services to assist musicians or singers for your ceremony, Southern Sound DJ will meet with those individuals prior to ceremony for hookup and practice run throughs. *We asked that you provide contact numbers for these individuals during the call prior to the wedding.

I'm all about bringing the party to Northern Alabama! My home base is in Madison, which puts me in the perfect spot to serve awesome events all over the northern part of the state. But hey, the party doesn't stop there! I love a good road trip and have traveled as far as Nashville, TN, and Gulf Shores, AL, to make sure the music is just right. If your event is outside of a 30-mile radius of Madison, AL, I do require travel compensation to cover the extra miles, but it's totally worth it to get the perfect soundtrack for your special day!

The answer is No and Yes. A $300 deposit retainer is collected prior to securing your date with Southern Sound DJ. The deposit retainer is NON-REFUNDABLE unless event falls under the Responsibly clause within the contract. The Responsibility clause states that the Vendor (Southern Sound DJ) is not responsible for any Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, Infectious Pandemics or Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency. If the event is canceled due to these clauses, Southern Sound DJ will try to accommodate new dates or return the deposit if desired. Cancellation Policy – If event is cancelled less than 90 days before date, 50% of final payment will be required to compensate for hours of service already rendered and loss of event date. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available.
